Maps are useless, compasses spin wildly, and even advanced scanning tech often fails. Only those who already know its location can guide others to it—if they trust them.
• Symbolism: The name serves as a nod to its elusiveness and to the defiance of its patrons, who metaphorically live their lives without any guiding compass.
• Interior Quirk: Inside the tavern, compasses displayed as decorations often spin erratically, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the anomaly. One of them, mounted behind the bar, has a piece of salvaged Itherian tech embedded in its center, a trophy from the pirates’ victories.
