State Gardens
The Tranquility Gardens surrounding the Nemanoi Board Chambers are a masterpiece of harmony and design, blending the natural beauty of Nemani’s flora with subtle architectural artistry. Nestled on a hill overlooking the capital city, the gardens are a haven of serenity, a space where the soft hum of the city below fades into the gentle sounds of nature.
The air is rich with the faint, calming aroma of Talysha Blooms, their bioluminescent petals glowing faintly as twilight sets in. These delicate flowers, with their blue and violet hues, dot the garden’s many trellises and arched walkways, creating an ethereal atmosphere as their light dances across the cobbled paths.
At the heart of the garden, a network of small fountains and streams winds through the space. Water flows over carefully placed smooth stones, its soft trickling sound complemented by the occasional chirps of native bird species. The largest fountain, a centerpiece of intricate stonework, depicts swirling patterns reminiscent of Nemanoi harmonic symbols, a tribute to the planet’s cultural heritage.
Low mossy patches of Vyrn Moss cling to the bases of the fountains and along the stone walls, their deep green tones offset by the subtle silver shimmer that catches the light. This moss, prized for its earthy fragrance, releases a grounding aroma that deepens the sense of calm in the space.
Along the shaded alcoves and resting spots, Nyxberry shrubs grow, their lush, dark-green leaves interspersed with the occasional cluster of glowing purple fruits. While the berries are a favorite among Nemanoi wildlife and the Kivu, their flowers are cherished for their delicate fragrance and used to create the herbal incense that drifts faintly through the garden.
Interwoven with these plants are the Lumivine creepers, their silver vines curling along railings and benches, their small, star-like flowers gleaming softly under the garden’s dim lighting. These flowers give the garden a celestial quality, as if the stars themselves have descended to mingle with the flora.
Each section of the garden is thoughtfully arranged to foster moments of reflection. Shaded seating areas built from smooth, pale stone offer visitors a place to rest and contemplate. Beneath an ancient Gildfern tree, with its golden, sweeping branches, sits a stone pavilion where important conversations, such as Adric’s recent meeting with his mother, often take place.
The Tranquility Gardens are more than a peaceful retreat—they are a living expression of Nemanoi culture, embodying balance, beauty, and the enduring connection between tradition and nature. The blend of the new plants with the historical significance of the garden gives it an even deeper resonance, offering visitors both solace and inspiration as they walk its winding paths.
