Trust is paramount in their society, upheld by a religious conviction that their deity, Volti, actively oversees and judges their actions. Dishonesty and corruption are believed to bring divine misfortune, fostering a society where integrity in business and personal dealings is a cultural cornerstone.

Cultural Structure:
Nemanoi society is structured like a vast interlocking network of family-run enterprises. Each family maintains a business that serves as their legacy, passed down through generations. The planet’s ruling council, known as the Board of Directors, operates with the efficiency of a corporate entity, with leaders carrying the title of CEO. Decisions are made with both spiritual and financial considerations, reflecting their deeply intertwined values.

Religion:
The worship of Volti is central to Nemanoi identity. As a figure of divine leadership, Volti represents both spiritual guidance and the virtues of foresight, wisdom, and sacrifice. This faith was born from ancient encounters with Volti, who is believed to have traversed through a celestial gateway and brought prosperity to the Nemanoi before vanishing. Over time, the story of Volti evolved into a foundational religion.

Cultural Practices:

• Rivael: A solemn ritual marking the severance of familial ties, often performed to signify disinheritance or rejection. This act is rarely invoked and carries significant social weight.
• Business Hours: The market opens for business when the Watcher's Eye gate opens in the sky. The Nemanoi believe that Volti uses the gate to watch their dealings and so only dishonest individuals would choose to do business when he is not able to see them.
• Faith in Action: Business transactions often begin with a prayer or offering to Volti, reinforcing trust between parties.
