Dedication

This world is dedicated to Frank Wells.

My dad who has been gone several years now.

He is the one who introduced me to Sci Fi with Star Trek and we used to spend hours discussing mind bending sci fi concepts, like time paradoxes and interdimensional stuff that I always enjoyed very much.

One day I was searching for something and could not find it. I said, "I put it right there, how can it just be gone?" Dad laughed and made a joke about it falling into another dimension and that started a week long conversation about where things go when they are lost. He came up with the idea of Time Slots and over the years this story has evolved from that conversation.

I first wrote it for a college writing project in the Star Trek universe and for a long time I didn't think it could come out of that universe. But then I discovered World Anvil and in a weeks time it has exploded into a very different and wonderful story idea. I wish I could share it with him now because I know he would love what it has become. I cannot wait to write it all up and share it with the world.
