At the heart of the Gallus doctrine is an intrinsic disdain for the most powerful "superior" spirits, beings they have known to be harmful and oppressive forces upon mortalkind. Unlike the general populous, Rising Gallus recognizes the stark differences between mortal and spirit and the supremacy and power that many superior spirits are seen to covet and use for their own whims. These writings were rediscovered by a visionary turned mad zealot, who reinterpreted them through the lens of flashcrafting—a dark, experimental art of merging flesh, bone, and essence. The leader preached that the "perfect vessel" could be created to house Gallus's presence by fusing the qualities of humans, animals, and mortal beings of all kinds. No one, not even some of its members, knows the true depths of this macabre practice, like how the name of Gallus came to be in the first place.
The Rising Gallus Cult operates in the shadows, abducting people and animals for their experiments. Using fleshcrafting techniques, they meld human and animal parts into horrifying hybrid creations known as Chimeric Prototypes. These abominations, often mindless and unstable, serve as stepping stones toward their ultimate goal: the perfect fusion- The true Gallus. The cult’s experiments are performed in hidden sanctuaries filled with surgical instruments, arcane runes, and vats of seething biological slurry.
