The Lightning Gate

The Lightning Gate is an elusive anomaly, in both the literal and metaphorical sense of the word. The Gate itself is a crackling cacophony of teal colored electricity that arcs and bends in the shape of a portal, and from within it's vacuous entrance pours clouds and mist that crackle and dance with light. The gate lacks a physical form in the similar sense to other structures, Given its plasmatic form as pure energy, heat, and light, anything that comes into contact with it is singed or outright burnt to a crisp as tendrils of arc-lightning bolt towards their forms. The gate is also incredibly hard to track down the location of, namely because it is always changing. The Lightning Guardian carries the gate along as they fly through the air, the gate almost like an organ within the bowels of a gigantic entity. To reach it, one must approach and survive proximity with it's protector.

- Similar to the unpredictable nature of lightning, the Gate's presence within a moving entity has led to mana conentration ebbing and flowing throughout the region's history.
