The Air Gate

The gate is unreachable by most means aside from theoretically flying either by machine or magic to it. The gate has been identified to preside suspended in the air somewhere kilometers above the mountain peaks of Astana's highest mountain range. Magical readings from afar done by talented mages seem to confirm so, though nobody has physically seen the gate, only the anomalies and beings that have claimed to have emerged from it. Some tales postulate that the never ending storm present around the gate is constantly fueled by the energies of the Air Gate constantly dispensing streams of high speed air from itself, churning with the air around it in a ceaseless concoction of meteorological chaos.

It is unknown how the gate remains suspended in the air, and lack of sightings has led to few theories garnering credible evidence on the mechanics of the gate period.
