Elven Ser’faliays: Azmith's Treasured Elven Slaves

Ser’faliay is a name for specifically an Azmith sun elf slave from within the Golden City's slave market. Prized for their various aspects, they are seen as a high profile and quality clutch of slave type.
Due to their long life span, it goes without saying that owning a ser’faliay that can out last generations to come is definitely more bang for the buck when their livez are thought of only as commercialized assets. Their complexions and capacity for fulfilling many different roles within various settings have made them an incredibly sought after and popular resource for nobles and wealthy merchants in Azmith. Even owning one elven ser’faliay is usually a sign of high wealth or favor.

"Ser’faliay" is a term that loosley can be translated as "Sun-Bound" or "Sun-Wrapped," stemming from the eancient origins of elves in Azmith, and the fascination that emanated from their mystique during that time.

Sun elves are popular and highly coveted slave choices in Azmith for two main reasons:

Class
Sun Elves are adored for their versatile ability to function in various different areas. Whilst strong built and stocky slaves are typically kept as manual workers and the like, and the most well behaved and personable slaves make their way as merchant assistants or stewards in their master's estate, elves are known to have the capacity to fall into many of these categories. They have a high resiliance to the sun's blistering heat, to disease, and typically remain in good health a lot easier and longer than other beings. Not to mention that their generalbly accepted to be graceful and pleasing aesthetic qualities makes them popular choices for helipng sell their master's products, or being trained and presented as performers or courtesans. The nature of the slave market prices them with a high price point, and the ability to purchase sun elven slaves in Azmith is itself a status symbol.

Heritage
It is a culturally common attribute of Golden City culture for many of it's wealthy noble houses who can afford to stock their servants with elves to treat and pass down the rights and use of these slaves to further generations. Elves live multiple human generations long, meaning that they can spend their lives serving an entire family line for multiple centuries, seeing their masters grow old, pass their servitude to their young children, watching those children grow older, and repeat the process again and again. Much like a hereditary helm, weapon, or inheritance, these servants are typically servants of not just a single master, but that master's family line, and this makes elves leagues more desirable than more "expendable" slave labor,
