The Munitions Dump
Within the war-torn town French town of Roesselt stands a scarred townhouse standing tall amongst the rubble and long since abandoned by its original tenants. Its exterior is scarred from fire and shrapnel, its windows all boarded over and piled over with sandbags, and a crude wooden sign hanging from above the door declaring this building "The Munitions Dump." commemorating
Above the makeshift bar and rowdy patrons, the two top floors have had been converted to lodging for those soldiers hoping for a night not surrounded by rats and mud or those lucky enough to find a companion for the night. Each of The Munitions Dumps eight rooms have been renovated to include a double bed, standing dresser, end table, cushioned chair, and writing desk fit with a lamp. Though not the height of luxury these rooms still go fast as soldiers much prefer them to the damp crowded trenches they otherwise have.
The Munitions Dump does not run itself though and hosts a small staff of five-people who keep it operational and a favorite amongst soldiers.
Angots is the half-orc bartender, owner, and friend to all patrons though he holds a certain friendliness towards soldiers often remembering the names of everyone to come through and giving them heavy discounts. Angots served himself and only left after suffering a severe injury that has left him with a permanent limp and as such is more than happy to share a story about his service or swap tales with patrons.
Lee Astier is the high elf cook and a former service member within the Frech army. Keeping a tidy kitchen and delectable menu Lee prefers to stay in the basement preparing a selection of dishes he has adopted from other countries so he can give the soldiers a taste of home" he is also happy to learn a new recipe and is no stranger to improvisation. Though he is nowhere near as talkative as Angots about his service Lee will mention his time as a chef in a frontlines trench and does mention he participated in a small number of raids.
Sella Beth is the human sever and Roesselt local who only recently began working. Though new to the job she quickly picked up the ropes and now serves all the booze and food while also helping with simple upkeep in the bar. With long black hair and a friendly smile many-a-soldier have come just to have a shot at her though just as many have left missing teeth after such stunts. Sensing this was likely to be an issue both Lee and Angots taught her a few moves to keep the soldiers in their place and though she doesn't enjoy the violence she doesn't deny its usefulness.
Vei Nelloth is the tiefling part-time barback part-time nurse who does a bit of everything around the bar from pouring drinks to cooking meals and preparing rooms. While not officially a military nurse Vei worked at the village clinic during the early days of the war and still does helping the citizens of Roesselt who get injured and when not in her scrubs she dons an apron and helps make the soldiers feel more at home and keep the pub running. Though she is only around a handful of hours throughout the week her kind personality and positive outlook are refreshing and keep soldiers coming back for a break from the bleak fighting.
Violet Kline is the wood elf hospitality manager and housecleaning staff. Violet helps assure that all of the pub's rooms are ready for rent and deals with booking them for patrons and managing the mess made in the pub and in the rooms.
