Tun Pah Khet - Forefather of Evil

Tun Pah Khet and his brother Tun Pah Flut were born in the moment the Universe came to be. Tun Pah Flut reveled in the glorious light of the millions of suns, watched in awe as planets were created and destroyed, and delighted in the stunning beauty of the Universe. Tun Pah Khet, however, hated the Universe. The glare of its suns burned his eyes, the clamor of the planets hurt his ears, and the vastness of the Universe frightened him.

While Tun Pah Flut played amongst the stars, painting nebulas and stars, his brother sought out the darkest places to hide. He created black holes in which he could escape the cacophony of the Universe. When anything would come too close to his hiding spots, Tun Pah Khet would see them destroyed. Tun Pah Flut would chastise his brother for destroying that which they were born into, but Tun Pah Khet just scoffed at his brother and returned to his black holes.

One day Tun Pah Khet noticed something new; metal ships zooming around the Universe where before there had been none. Looking closer, he saw that these metal ships were filled with tiny beings. He saw that many of the planets of the Universe were now swarming with beings of all sizes, shapes and colors. Now Tun Pah Khet hated the Universe more than ever. These seemingly endless swarms of parasites, feeding off of the planets of the Universe, were now intruding upon his space!

Tun Pah Khet brooded inside of his black holes, scheming and planning the demise of the Universe. Angrily he would lash out, causing stars to go supernova, of sending his black holes to devour stars. Often he would strike at the things that his brother had just created out of spite and hatred. To counter the swarms of beings that his brother had created, he made hordes of dark creatures that would eat the beings of his brother. Chief among these creatures was the Xenthmare; hideous beasts that lived in the darkness of deep space that would descend upon the worlds of his brother's creations and ravage those worlds, consuming all life they encountered.

Creating the Xenthmare took much of Tun Pah Khet's energy, and he despaired when he saw that his beasts were making no headway against the swarms of living beings. So he decided that he had to devise another way of striking back against the Universe. After much thought, he decided to create a cancer in the center of the Universe that would expand to consume everything. With the last of his strength, Tun Pah Khet created the largest black hole that he had ever made, stabbing it deep into the heart of the Universe.

As the last of his energy spat forth into the new black hole, Tun Pah Khet found that he was pulled along with it, sucked into the very essence of his creation. Instead of ceasing to exist as he had wanted, Tun Pah Khet found that he had become the swirling void that had begun to devour the Universe. He first despaired that he was still part of the Universe, but then he saw that his bleakness was growing larger, swallowing stars and planets, nebulae and asteroids. And, most importantly, it was sucking in the ships of his brother's creation.

His Xenthmare now lived within the black vortex that was himself now. They were able to travel from the Vortex to the black holes that he had previously created throughout the Universe. And so Tun Pah Khet exalted. He sent his Xenthmare out to terrorize the rest of the Universe. He continued to consume the Universe from the inside. And while it would take eons to complete, he knew that his crusade to unmake the Universe would one day be complete.
