On the way home from school, Alice catches Otto and a couple of others (a Rottweiler and a Polar) bullying a Red fawn. Alice calls their attention and tells them to "pick on someone their own size". Otto tells him to leave before he's next and continues to push the fawn around. Alice finds a nearby rock and throws it at the back of Otto's head. Otto growls at him, prompting the other two to attack Alice. They tussle, but Alice's training makes it an easy win. Otto runs at him next, allowing the fawn to get away. Otto's own training, Wulfen genes, and age keep him on top, but Alice being Sporer allows him to survive and deal his own damage. Some biting, scratching, fur and ear pulling, and a few cuts and bruises ensue, with Alice dealing a surprising blow that allows him to run away. He catches a public school bus home, giving one last look of neutral anger to Otto before the doors close. Otto, now with a few scrapes and a bloody mouth, finds himself a bit curious at who this Dalmatian is that managed to take and deal such damage.   Otto continues to attempt to dominate Alice but fails to overpower Alice's unusual willpower against him. They continue to get into scuffles, especially when one of their friends or colleagues messes with the other's.
