Sylviette

Nestled onto the tiny, densely wooded Ile de Sylviette, this Montaigne colony was the first settlement fully controlled by Théans within the Sea of Monsters, and now serves as the outpost for Montaigne culture and society in the region. Founded by disgraced Marquise Sylviette DuMorne, the colony is touted as the only place to find “real Théan civilization” in the West… even as nearby Jaragua throws off its chains. Sylviette is home to music halls, artist havens and lavish estates, all done in the best Montaigne designs. Locals dress in the latest fashions imported from Théah and attend opulent parties and salons, all maintained on the backs of slaves purchased from the Company. To any Théan in the Atabean, Sylviette is a glittering gem set on stormy seas.
