The blackberry tart is a favorite among those lucky enough to savor this buttery, flaky pastry. It pairs beautifully with a cup of tea or hot coffee, making it the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
Tart and Filling | Honey Whipped Cream |

1 pie crust from scratch or premade 2 pints of blackberries 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp of almond extract or 1 fl oz. of Amaretto zest of one orange juice of one orange pinch of salt 1 egg beaten turbinado sugar | 1 and 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream 4oz softened cream chease 2 tbsp honey |
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 400F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the pie crust in the center of the baking sheet,
Wash your berries and place in a bowl and add flour, sugar, Amaretto or almond extract, orange juice, and salt. mix until combined.
Spoon the mixture into the center of the pie crust..Fold the dough up over the edge of the berries, pleating the dough as you go. If the dough tears just pinch it together
Brush the edge of the tart with the beaten egg and sprinkle it with turbinado sugar. Place the tart in the center rack of the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. While the tart is baking, combine whipping cream, cream cheese, and honey in a separate bowl, and whip on high for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is fluffy.
Allow the tart to cool down for around 30 minutes and then serve it with Honey Whipped Cream.
