Aeris Marisong
The Sea Singer
The Seasinger, one of Lady Sanguine's most trusted confidants, is a figure both revered and reviled. Part Aquarii, part Siren, he is considered anathema to both peoples in Selenia and the Islands of the Veil. His very existence is a contradiction, a living embodiment of what should never have been. Yet his voice—a gift, or perhaps a curse—commands the seas with a power that rivals even Edarr and the Sunken. His song, when sung with intent, can kill with chilling precision, carving through flesh and bone as if the waters themselves obey his every note. His abilities are whispered about in hushed tones, for few truly understand the depths of his power, and fewer still live to speak of it.
It is rumored his relationship with Sanguine is romantic however many have doubts about that. Aeris is the ever enigmatic man who can only be found when you aren't looking for him and if you are looking for him, pray to the gods he is feeling merciful.

Personal history
Aeris was born of a union that should never have been—a Siren and an Aquarii. Conceived in the shadow of the Killing Reef, his birth was shrouded in secrecy. From the moment he came into the world, he possessed strange powers, gifts that his parents could not keep hidden for long. When the truth surfaced, it’s said the King of Caraballa punished them for their transgression, leaving Aeris to drift alone on the endless, merciless seas of the Veil.
The ocean raised him, shaping him into someone who knew the harsh realities of life from an early age. He learned to rely on his gifts, his charm, and his wits to survive, never quite trusting the world around him. But everything changed when he met Sanguine. She didn’t see him for his abilities or his allure. At first, their friendship was anything but easy. Sanguine, driven by her thirst for power and a fierce sense of duty to the Sunken, often clashed with Aeris’s desire to live freely, to do as he pleased. Yet she gave him something no one else had: stability. Space to grow. And, most importantly, she never tried to bind him as others had.
Aeris stays with Sanguine by choice, drawn to the benefits her life offers, but also to the respect she shows him, allowing him to be himself in a way few ever did.
With his Siren’s gifts, Aeris became known as a charmer, leaving his mark on the islands of the Veil and fathering a few children along the way. The most notable of his offspring is Taran Delmar, known as *Selkie*—a mercenary with a reputation of his own, carrying the same charm and wild spirit his father passed down to him.
