Varseth

The Varseth are a posthuman people who live on the heavily-forested planet of Varseth. They resemble large monkeys with thick prehensile tails.
There are two types of Varseth: nocturnal and diurnal. For many decades, perhaps even centuries, the two factions were at war. Following the plague, the hostilities have essentially evaporated. Both types are endangered.
