Mark of Fate

A Mark of Fate, often appearing as a scrap of paper with a person's name scrawled on it, is at its core a bounty given by the Fatalists to a Deliverer via their Hand of Fate. This often serves as a death sentence for the named individual and serves as both a solemn duty, form of service, and religious obligation from a Deliverer.
Despite their solemn and often final nature, it is historically recorded that even Deliverers have no knowledge of where these marks originate from or how they arrive in their Hand of Fate.

Purpose

A Mark of Fate denotes Fate's desire to eliminate someone from the galaxy. It is often treated by Deliverers as retribution for their misdeeds, though this may only be conjecture and justification.
