Jason: The Guardian's Final Message

You hear the silence pierced as there is suddenly faint beeping around you. Your see a bright, white room with metallic walls around you. In the center of your vision is a young man, that bares a striking similarity to Jason. He is sitting in a plain chair wearing a Black and Red uniform with echelons of a high status. His badge bears the symbol of two lightning bolts mirroring each other and angled to meet in the middle. The symbol faintly resembles a wolf’s head out of yellow based on a Black background. The man has bloodshot eyes and seems to be struggling to breathe. He leans forward and speaks, revealing a cracked voice though one that still carries the weight of authority.   “If you are seeing this, my efforts have ultimately failed. You are looking into my past and you are looking for answers that do not need to be found. Unless this message has been extracted from my long since removed head, I must ask you a favor. I, Admiral Cyrus Black, Citizen of Krasia, Alpha of Black’s Pack, beseech you to stop here. Some things do not need to be remembered. Some things lay best forgotten.”   As he speaks, the man’s hand slowly curls up into a fist, though the fingers seem curled and twisted oddly. Seeing this, the man visibly uncurls his fingers while his raspy breath continues.
”If this goes as planned, there will be no trace of Citizen Black in the records. Admiral Black will be long dead. No legacy, no mourners…simply absence. This is the best way…this is retribution. If you hate me, let me live in this darkness. If you love me, deny the existence of even this Guardian and protect me from this. Great pains have come into becoming something else…greater pains await me if I return to what I was.”   The man looks up at you directly with a steely gaze. His bloodshot eyes shake with pain and determination as a droplet of blood slips out of the side of it. “Finally, if you are me…listen carefully…” *cough*
”Jason, listen closely. Stop now. Be who you can now. Go no further. There is nothing…no one waiting for you in what you were. Be Jason fully. I’m…sorry it was made difficult for you. I’m sorry about the trials you’ve faced. I can’t risk us going back to Krasia. You’re going to a new…and an old home…home to Triton. Be born anew, make your way outside of this old life, and leave these memories behind.”   The image fades as the Guardian dissolves.
