Session 5 - 2023-03-31

General Summary

Writing this almost a month after the fact so details are going to be sketchy sorry!
The group breaks camp on the mountain road and makes progress into Val Doheim. They arrive in the evening, make a short exploration of the small town before settling down at the inn for the evening. Hip Gonzales offers to entertain the patrons of the inn and is flatly rebuffed by the Harengon barmaid. Vilnius and Zylfina trade off using their trance ability to keep an eye on the cart and its contents.
In the morning, some of the group starts to explore the town. Vilnius finds the place that the delivery is supposed to be taken to and meets Grundir. He indicates that Neil Okri should have told the gang to come at night as they don't want to be seen unloading. Vilnius agrees to come back later.
Frocias Handley and Eudaimonia Waring head into the town and find the town's watermill frozen over and a work crew breaking the ice to get the mill going. They seem to be used to this activity, and appreciate the efforts to use magic to aid them. Eudaimonia befriends a small child named Chadwick who seems to be being picked on by other kids in the town.
