How Population is calculated in this world. One the population will increase every year increasing based on these variables. The percentage population increase that you will add can be increased based on; Trade-Low(1%) Good(3%) Excellent(5%), Infrastructure-(1%) Good(3%) Excellent(5%), and How well a ruler is liked-(1%) Good(3%) Excellent(5%). The base percentage increase is 10%. You can have a reduced percentage If you are considered low. In trade for example you will gain a 3% increase. These percentages are subject to change but for now, I think they are good. we also calculate military strength. take 3% of a population as active soldiers year-round.
