How Death works

How death works in Untold Tales. When someone dies where do they go if anywhere? We know we have Heftrune which is where souls of evil are sent and work away in a prison. But what if that changed and wasn’t what people thought it was? Heres Heftrunes roll in death. It houses the souls and bodies of those who were killed and were deemed evil by nature however this is the first death of a person. Only those actions that are considered evil are taken here tho. The counterpart to Heftrune Would be Cosmone which could be considered heaven. The same concept applies here but the opposite. The good would go here with a soul and body from living a happy life. There is an issue with both these places it's very easy to bring anyone from either of these places back alive. Revival magic easily works on people who have died once. But if someone has died twice well its gets complicated. The body of the person cannot be replicated anymore and is now just the soul of the creature. A perfect example is Zytornin he was killed twice and was gonna be brought back but his soul was destroyed we will talk about what happens there in a minute. For the second death, the soul is then managed by a Deity whether it's the deity of deities or a deity of say death or of souls. No matter whether a higher being takes care of the Soul realm or is better known as The Everstille Plane. The souls have little will in this plane. The Evil Souls Manage the powers of the plane and create and do various tasks for the overseer of The Everstille. The Good souls have their own place where they can enjoy the afterlife but they still must do works and tasks for the overseer which can consist of managing the Evil souls. Why are the goods souls not treated with a perfect heaven you may ask? They came back to life once defying what was already decided for them and this is a small price to pay considering they got a second chance at life. If someone gets resurrected a third time oh me oh my. First to resurrect a second time requires skill, knowledge, and power to perform such an act. To gather the soul and create a vessel are the basics then you must perform the magic to finish it up. Then you can live your second chance at life but if you die you will be going to a very not-so-fun plane. For defying your death not once, but twice you are sent here. Animae Contriti is the next plane. Where souls are broken into pieces and put around the place and used in horrifying creations this is also managed by the deity of deities or a god that fits such a title of overseer. Here is where souls are truly tortured and driven to absolute madness. Your soul surviving here is unheard of and thus your soul is broken. Some even to dust. Now how in the universe would you be brought back to life? Well oof. Either through intense magicule control and somehow weaving magic through the plane and gathering the pieces of the soul then preparing a vessel to contain the soul could work. But you would have to be centuries years old to have that knowledge, skill, and power. The other option is to go there yourself pass all the guardians and obstacles and gather those pieces then once again prepare a vessel then insert the soul. Very risky. Why would the gods even let people do this? Simple you got this far and pushed yourself to such a high level to succeed you mine as well bask in the glory at least till you find yourself dead overtime again. Not to mention we're hoping that the soul hasn’t lost its mentality yet. Good luck. Now what happens if someone escapes any of these planes via their own self with no outside help? Well, there are no repercussions unless you get out from the third plane. The consequences for that are as follows. The next time you die you will be completely and utterly destroyed in one year from your escape or resurrection. Yes even if you resurrect via the third plane you will be destroyed in one year.
