I will see you and this galaxy burn for my suffering, DO YOU HEAR ME?!High Admiral Smilian, formerly high engineer of the Rada Collective has now turned his back on the Collective and joined the New Dawn as its foremost commander in chief after Bashi himself. If Bashi is a god, then Smilian is king and thus no one but the great Bashi is above him in rank or authority. Like most of the higher Rada, Smilian too belongs to the first generation of Rada who took over Yaku bodies and went on from there, having spent a great deal of his life as an engineer who created marvellous creations for both Collectives and even discovered Ignis, he eventually would take many traits and memories from military leaders to make himself a dangerous man in most aspects. Smilian is also highly suspected to be the one who is developing The New Dawn's weaponry, such as the Green Rain compound that enters their victims and turns them feral and mindless, radafying them only on a basic level, as well as highly acidic Acerak weaponry that the New Dawn uses in place of Ignis, perhaps Smilian's own slight against the Collective that stole his technology, vowing to destroy his own creation with creations truly his. Many think that a name called Smilian is highly ironic for an individual who is perpetuated by high amounts of arrogance, hate and jealousy. For there is hardly ever a smile on his face, in fact the Rada records go to show that the only instance that Smilian smiled was when he was appointed as the High Engineer for having created Ignis, and is the only picture of him being seen with a grin.

A cut of marble that is Smilian is a golden skinned humanoid beast with a tail, claws and fangs with six red eyes and hair made out of frills and tentacles.

Personal history
Smilian's history is a tragic one as he was born from a Yaku engineer and his engineer had not been pre-planted with a Rada parasite like most, but when monsters were being born all around him, he tried to escape, only to be caught by emerging rada and planted with a rada parasite by force, this actually shocking the parasite reading his memories of that very same process and getting a light trauma from his body being handled so roughly.
From this, Smilian grew resentment towards other Rada as he joined the newly formed Collective apprehensily. Instead of fighting and doing what was done to him, he decided to instead dedicate his life to engineering and invention much like his host had done in life. His name, Smilian, was also something he picked from his host, in his childhood the host had an imagenery friend named Smilian, this giving Smilian an odd sense of mirth that he was the imagenery friend made real, who took his life.
The angst and grief that Smilian felt were immense, the shame he felt for robbing an innocent life against his wishes tormented him day and night, but he could take some joy out of engineering. Even as he came to know and befriend other Rada, he could never forget that they were monsters as well that had taken innocent lives to make theirs and to him everyone else pretended that it never happened.
During his work for the Armored Arsenal Division, Smilian became known as a brilliant engineer and grew a working relationship with the lead Rada scientist, Razial the Geneweaver. Mostly due to the science and engineering wing both supporting each other from time to time as the scientists made science and engineers making the forms for their science.
One of Smilian's greatest discoveries was how to form Ignis, a heat energy that was literally the hottest technology in the known galaxy that could be utilized safely, making it into weapons, armor, energy sources and more as it was mostly come to be used as incineration rays that blasted enemies into ashes. However despite this discovery being hailed as a scientific breakthrough and the technology soon becoming a prevailing force in Rada society, Smilian felt he got no recognition for his genius, it was more so a creation of the Collective, rather than the achievement of one Smilian.
Watching his faction go to war, those factions hating his race and that very race acting as if they were the only one that mattered, and the rest of the galaxy being in his view, brainless morons in how they treated or didn't treat the factions with all of it made Smilian bitter, this bitterness eventually pushing him into social circles with Bashi himself and soon they agreed to ally up.
Smilian would work with the Collective as a coup was planned and he was promised a high rank among Bashi's new faction, as the tyrant had fully seen into Smilian's darkness within. As Smilian was taking as many traits from the hivemind as possible, he eventually defected with the rest of the rebel rada and took to space at the conclusion of the final battle of the war and disappeared.
Smilian would resurface fifty years later, having gathered quite the armada that he was now leading, becoming the second most important member of the New Dawn, he no longer wishes to be recognized, he only wants to destroy it all to gain vengeance on the callous galaxy, to see everything burn and eventually he too shall disappear in flames, but only after it is all gone.

Smilian was an engineer in life as he was in rada, however he downloaded military memories and teachings to become a capable combatant which he then backed up with personal training, Smilian's ability to multi-task and the vast knowledge over many fields makes him a super genius and one of the most learned individuals in the galaxy.

He started as a master class engineer due to his experience from his host, taking a liking to the art and life of his host, however he grew bitter and became a military leader for Bashi.

Due to his forced radafication at the hands of early Rada, Smilian is even now haunted by the fate of his host whom Smilian not only relates with but also regrets taking the life of, despite having grown cold and bitter, it is the only life he regrets taking, because it was not his choice.

From an intellectual standpoint, Smilian has it all, he has tactical know how, good character study abilities, multi-tasking of the gods and so forth, he is too smart for his own good which has made him arrogant and vain, his own incredible abilities creating flaws that would not otherwise perhaps exist.
Morality & Philosophy
Smilian wishes that the galaxy was a good and peaceful place to live, where everyone should be honored and respected and no one would ever be hurt.
This philosophy is extremely fragile in an unfair and unjust galaxy, where everyone is out for themselves, where credit is not given to the right people and where lives are taken as if it was a commodity. Smilian despises -this- galaxy and he is more than eager to burn it down, even at the cost of the few good people in it, he wishes -everyone- to die, including himself for the things he has done.
