Razial the Geneweaver
Razial the Geneweaver, head-scientist of the Rada, one of if not the top biological scientist in the galaxy, able to weave genes and modify DNA with his bare hands.
This enigmatic Rada wears a mask and mechanical claws, usually found in a hood and jacket, usually buried inside a lab doing who knows what experiments to further the Rada cause.
More than any other Rada, Razial put all of his life in for science and research. Thinking mostly with logic, aside from wild speculation and free-thinking experimentation, Razial is often thought of as the most intelligent Rada overall and they may be right to think so due to the head-scientists several hundreds of IQ.
Not blessed by a large social circle, Razial is a hermit of sorts, secluding himself from the Galaxy for his research, mostly staying in touch with other Rada by the Hivemind, ensuring he is never 'quite' alone even if he may not be seen by his comrades, he can still be felt.
By some he is seen as cold and uncaring, though they are wrong in such assertions, for care can manifest in many ways, and Razial's brand of caring is very much scientific and logical.
The secretive man is behind much of the Collective's progress and is a key person in the line up of the many vicious warlords of the Rada, someone who lets his achievements speak for themselves and cares not for posturing or war, simply don't come in between him and his experiments.

Special abilities
Razial is unique among the Rada as he is able to transform life by touch, simply by laying his hand on a living organism, he is able to alter, define and adapt genes and DNA. He can grow or remove body parts, basically he is a computer with an active controller USB connected to anything he touches. Which means he can basically kill you if he simply touches you long enough, if he has intent prior to touching you, even a slap can spell doom or a heavy medical emergency, making Razial one of the deadliest bio-forms in the universe.
For unknown reasons, Razial is incapable of transferring this ability to other Rada, as otherwise Rada would just go around slapping their enemies by growing arms inside their bodies.

Personal history
Horivilis Petuli was a Yaku man of no note or prestige. He had a good mind but no prospects to do anything with it, born to a normal family with no ambition to speak of, someone who simply watched the world go by as he tried to find something to interest him. Someone who got along with people with his natural charisma, who knew what to say but didn't have motivation to speak much- someone who would slowly erode in the background in a people that was filled with much more assertive characters.
This would all change however when one day he ate a fateful meal and would carry a parasite inside him for a long while until one day, Bashi let out a signal that activated it. The worm burrying into his brain and taking over, ending Horivilis Petuli and the parasite assuming a new identity as 'Razial', the name of a fictive being only ever existing in Horivilis's mind.
This newborn Rada was pushed to a time of conflict of the Extinction Wars and more specifically the Rada Triumvirate wars, where the Rada had to not only fight all other species in the Galaxy, but Yaku holdouts in their territories and themselves as several King canditates rouse in the chaos. Razial had intense foresight and knew from the beginning that Khizra was likely to win the contest, so he focused on clearing the Yaku from the Board, supporting the central Rada forces fighting the Yaku holdouts and the rest of the Extinction wars.
A brilliant mind finally utilised, starting his service for his newly born species in military, Razial found some success but he was never quite satisfied as a soldier. Surely there could be a better use for him in this conflict, he thought. He would spend his nights pouring over the Yaku weapons and that of the other factions, realising that they needed someone to do the sort of invention all the other races had done for so many years before their arrival. Someone.. would need to catch up if the Rada were to survive as a species. No one else had stepped up as the Rada in their panic for survival seemed more than comfortable to rely on the Yaku's equipment.. That someone had to be him.
Razial swept in and re-organised the barely started up military science wing of the Rada government, telling them what to do and while at first being refuted and rejected intensely, Razial's wild reforms and confidence in what he was doing won over the haggered and overwhelmed Rada scientists, who really had no idea what to do besides follow the formulas that the Yaku had left behind. Razial's popularity was intense and fierce, even without any influence from the shared subconsciousness that they shared.
In fact Razial was the first one to fully understand and explain the effects of the Shared Consciousness they all shared, which the Rada politicians quickly renamed 'The Hivemind' as to remove any doubts of unity, the triumvirate war had been enough, now they would share purpose in all things which Razial did not agree with- but disinterested in politics did not lobby against it.
The Rada Triumvirate war would indeed end with Khizra as the victor, just as Razial had foreseen and soon the new King would meet with the man who had almost single handedly helped him turn the tide while keeping his newborn empire. The two men talked at length after which Khizra appointed Razial as the head scientist of the entire Rada Collective, earning Razial more than a few enemies at the off-set but he did not care about it as he set out to use his newly gained assets to better their species.
As created parasites, Razial quickly abandoned the Yaku's resource based research, those were what everyone else was doing and would create a stalemate, he needed something unique but as if not more potent than what their contemporaries were doing.. So he began to pour his resources and time into bio-engineering. He found quick success as more than any other Rada, Razial discovered his skill in manipulating and changing Genes and DNA able to reconstruct it and mold it like 'god' himself in the many tales of other species.
While Avik Avish began to hear the sounds of god in his mind and explaining it, Razial was playing god himself as he created the first of many biological master pieces- birthing the first Skeith in a secret lab far underground. As Razial became a father for the first time, he was struck with inspiration, how he could create and shape life. After Skeith, many other Rada bio-types followed and entered circulation in the main Rada population, near endless variants, near endless stream of experiments. For creating the first Skeith and thus the first Rada form without hostile takeover, he was given the title 'Geneweaver'.
Razial was like most scientists and genius's a bit of a loner though he did meet many of his colleagues and sometimes worked together with them, praising good ideas while showing his distaste for poor ones. One of these Colleagues was named Smilian, who became like a brother to Razial. A brilliant mind if a bit hot-headed, someone he could confide in and talk endlessly into the night about new experiments and theories about science...
During his tenure Razial would also construct a secret base called 'The Egg of Kings' in space, where Razial would house his most secretive experiments. He would also meet with fellow Rada scientist named Lillian Voss, whom wasn't a Rada at all. He allowed her to access their research into the Greater Worms that had appeared in the galaxy and both under Khizra and Bashi- worked on all biological research with Lillian.
Most of the Rada's biological evolution has something to do with him, being the one who implemented mammalian breeding into their species along with other changes, even the most brilliant ideas thought by other Rada require the scientific process to implement in full, and there lies Razial.
The only true sorrow of Razial came when Smilian, enraged by the Rada society neglecting him, took off to join Bashi as part of the New Dawn- his first and only friend, betraying him for personal glory. While saddened, this didn't break the scientist, who simply went back to work.
Never truly taking physical part in the wars and conflicts in the galaxy, Razial's work is seen more than he himself. Yet he continues to work even after fifty years, never ceasing, never tiring, always looking for new ways to increase his species's place in the galaxy, to upgrade them, to better them. A brilliant mind unleashed.
Education
Razial as a scientist is completely self taught, his impressive mind from Horivilis Petuli had no prior scientific education so Raziel had to mostly trust intuition and working off of or be inspired by given formulas and designs, however he did attend Basic Education later on when it was properly established and cleared several galaxy wide doctorates just to make sure his talents were truly up to snuff. At the end of the day, education has ever been just proof for others about his talents.
Employment
Starting as a soldier of the lowest rank, Razial climbed up to a sergeant role before retiring from the military and instead become a researcher- then being nominated High Researcher, which he continues to work as to this day.

Unable to convince his friend, Smilian to stay with the Rada rather than follow Bashi's extremism is what Razial considers a personal failure on his part, knowing he should have known the right words to say.
Morality & Philosophy
Razial subscribes to the school of morality that 'good' is preserved for your own people and everyone else is to be considered an enemy by default. The Rada were born and feared and fought by all the galaxy. No one truly welcomed them as they were, only once they showed how powerful they were, were they 'accepted'. So only Rada are to be treated humanely, everyone else is closer to an animal.
Even then, singular Rada lives can be expended if it is for the greater good, which is the Rada species itself. In the name of science, nearly anything is allowed, as long as it serves the cause, except for one taboo.
One must think with logic, not with emotion.

Razial is not man of many taboos, however anything that would cause harm to the Rada as a species is considered the gravest crime.
