The metal itself is a Deep green coloration of gunmetal standards. its semi reflective with translucent ability when made thin enough.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Permeates with a energy of Anti-corruption energy but to the point that it absorbs corruption's attempts to feed off of suffering or dark emotions within the wearer. 
It is smooth to touch as well as being made purely from the ore its made from not needing a alloy to be made. It is resistant to acid and flame but it will take mental fortitude to resist long periods of exposure.

The ore itself is only what is needed to be melted down to be made into the metal but the main use of this is armor for the Purge Fleet Psykers.

Currently a pure source of the ores location is lost to the militarium as they no longer live apon the world it was found on, Titan.

Origin & Source

The Metal comes from the Ore of the Oricartum which is a by product of the teleporter that was used to displace the ancient ancestors of the Militarium.

History & Usage

History

When the first uses of Oricartuim was found it was being used to make old armor for the ancient militarium when they were teleported to their world of Titan. it was a by product of the teleportation process which made it limited and highly sort after by the ruling elites of their culture. over the many years that lead up to the present they have thought it to be useless but with the resurgence of their corruption power abilities they have found this 'trinket' material has become widely collected to be brought to the smelters to become armor for the Purge fleet.

Discovery

It was discovered by the Early Atlantean decedents of the Militarium upon finding it they took it as a jewel not knowing of its metallic ability to be made into armor. thus it was made into gems for jewellery.

Everyday use

before it was used as embellishment for jewellery or furniture but now its being mass collected for it to be used in armor making for its new found properties.

Cultural Significance and Usage

This ore and the metal it makes is seen as a gift from the machine that transported the ancestors of the militarium to their home world of titan. now that they have lost that home world they see it as their cultures birth right and use it to defend themselves against corruption.

Industrial Use

The only use the Militarium use this material in is the forging of armor in use of the plague fleet specifically.

Refinement

Thanks to their allies in the Skaronien council the forging process has been refined to using the extreme heat of Red matter used in a forging process to melt and refine the ore into metalic plates.

Manufacturing & Products

With the refinement process the metal can be made into armor for the Purge fleet of the Militarium. its made for combatting corruption at any turn.

Hazards

While the metal is used to restrain the militariums darker energies while using corruption the armor can be weak to extreme over exertion of a wielders will.

Environmental Impact

If ore is used to be placed in corrupted ground it can start a repelling effect as the ore starts to contaminate the ground its buried in cleansing the corruption from the dirt.
