Oppression Squad

The force known as the Oppression Squad is a Rada military unit made in purpose for the security of the Rada Collective and its allies. Usually used against civil unrest, these expertly trained commandoes are able to disrupt and halt rebellious elements with acts of extreme prejudice and violence. Although the name is rather overtly dubious, that is not what they are officially called for such a name would be rather divisive. Officially they are known as Rada Collective Peace Keeping Unit or the RPKU.

RPKU's mission statement is to guard the Collective's borders and that of their allies, deployed against rebel elements that eventually fester in many large empires and entering to put a stop to them. To keep the peace, with violence if need be. Given its more infamous name, the Oppression Squad calls itself the name the people gave it, though this is only a rumour. Still, the name is earned as the RPKU will often use lethal force, kidnapping, torture and worse to stop terrorists, rebels and other such things. They are the homeguard of the homeguard, military trained and armed personnel doing what the police often cannot.
The RPKU members are dressed in dark black and red armour and often display little emotion, these peace keeping shock troopers work with cold effiency almost like humanoid robots, yet are blood and flesh Rada underneath their cold and uncaring outfits.
Training for the RPKU consists of secretive and cruelling urban sprawl exercises, where they learn how to best kick doors down, how best to capture people even with every citizen having phones or most urban areas having cameras. As well as expert military training, giving its agents high amounts of physical strength, endurance and speed with deadly accuracy and fighting abilities. Able to scale walls without equipment and working as cohesive units.
They appear, snatch or destroy their target and leave, leading to many rumours about them as they operate in secret. Sometimes, the RPKU employs Leaper Rada with their units, making the oppression squad a fearsome foe to have for any revolutionary. Riots are stopped, activists are kidnapped and those who spread discord will regret their decisions. Publically, the Rada Collective claims that the RPKU is a peacekeeping unit and that it only does what it must to maintain order within Rada territories or its allies, that in the face of their enemies they cannot afford to take security threats lightly, but the truth might be all the more darker for it.
As capable as any Rada soldier, means that even a single member of RPKU vastly outpaces most species and citizens physically, making them near monsters to go up against.
