The Kiriyaku are the arm of the 'Acquisitions Incorporated' which is an Initiative by the Rada Collective, specifically they are a fighter craft unit- as well as a small fighter supporting fleet. The initiative's goal is the acquisition of assets- mostly by using violence and taking these assets from others. While the galaxy is filled with unexplored planets and those planets are filled with resources, sometimes it is cheaper to take them from someone else.
This makes the Kiriyaku looters and bullies as their mission statement is to go harass and destroy targets to take what they have- although on a smaller scale, something that wouldn't elicit a conflict as large as the extinction wars. A few stations there, a few supply ships there- they are a purposeful blip in everyone's radar and they move around a lot so as not to become a permanent threat to any one faction or force.
Although with an unpleasant job and an unpleasant disposition, these third generation Rada are actually very friendly and social with their allies, engaging in jovial teasing and play on and off missions. The Kiriyaku members cheer on humans and Skaroniens during battles and take drinks with them off duty in the same mess halls- even parking their ships in Alliance vessels when allowed to cheer on victories with them personally.
To their enemies, the Kiriyaku are a lot less pleasant to as these young dare devils have the worst curse in existence, talent. Each pilot of the Kiriyaku fighter wing is very skilled and usually very young, most of them in their twenties. Not only do these young Rada think they know everything, they are full of youthful bluster and raw talent, making them perhaps rightfully arrogant- though they do their jobs seriously. They especially enjoy torturing targets weaker than them, harrying them and tormenting them before the end like a pack of piranhas. Opponents and enemies of equal skill they take on seriously.

Composition

Manpower

The Kiriyaku is a fighter wing of 20 pilots that are supported by a ground team of 40 to 50 available technicians and engineers with a communications officer overseeing the operation.
The formation is often supported by the carrier fondly nicknamed 'Old Stuffy' which houses a few hundred strong crew that houses also other fighter wings, not just the Kiriyaku, although since each fighter can use hyper-drive, it isn't necessary for Old Stuffy to always house them.

Equipment

The formation uses 20 altered Super Sparrowhawks, or Apexhawks as they call them, with an Arzuros carrier in support.
Apexhawk Centris is the customised Apexhawk operated by the wing's leader, Linarath which houses even more power than a regular Apex.
These strike craft use a variety of weapons, including missiles, bombs, Ignis cannons and other exotic equipment. Due to the Apexhawks multi-use frame and Collective's Bio Mechanics technology, new modules can be equipped or taken off very quickly and easily; for example, some of the Wing may take jamming pods and sensor-seeking missiles to counter enemy anti-air defences, if another Wing is not available for support. The Arzuros is a state-of-the-art support craft that acts as command and control for the Wing, and is generally in attendance on all missions some distance from the engagement. The Arzuros can provide support fire and warn of incoming threats, and allow the fighters to micro-jump in and out of combat, a technique that the Mjolnir squadron has put to great use in the past- and it is similarly being used now by the Kiriyaku as well to some extent..
The Apexhawk each carry a specialised 'Blue Ignis' cannon which shoots a blue disintegration ray, even more powerful than regular Ignis, this super heated ray bores through nearly anything in the galaxy.

Structure

The unit is headed by Linarath, who commands the group in battle while the Arzuros carrier 'old Stuffy' gives them their missions and intelligence from the Collective.
Linarath has two seconds in command 'Wind' and 'Storm', hand picked pilots who share the command if Linarath is forced to retreat or for any other reason- such as that Linarath herself is being pressed and must focus on combat- making Wind and Storm very important for the unit, although all members of the Wing can and will self command if necessary.

Tactics

The Kiriyaku mimic the hunting patterns of beasts in the wild, they encircle and sneak upon their prey, then they attack with overwhelming violence, going for the throat of their foe, putting them down with force and then consuming the corpse or taking their spoils to a safe location. Each attack is sudden and violent with no mercy shown or perhaps- even known. Those who are weak will be torn to shreds in a violent, animalistic display of cruelty, the strong will be exhausted, torn down by the seams and overwhelmed.
They mirror some of the Mjolnir Squadrons tactics in that they lay claim to being some of the best dogfighters in galaxy with sudden hit and run tactics, using their hyper-drives to blink in to shower the enemy with pre-ordained ordinance before disappearing again, liking close quarter fights the most, hardly ever engaging their enemies at range- especially because of the Apexhawk's ability to engage in melee, shredding craft with their scrappers.
They use terms and tactical manouvers mirroring those of the animal world, a Kiriyaku 'feeding frenzy' is considered one of the Galaxy's most nastiest destruction of a single vessel known to man.

Training

The Kiriyaku are people hand-picked by Linarath herself, those she feels to have an inner drive inside them, a will that pushes them forward towards space and towards being a fighter pilot. Not only does she share her skill and experience with each new pilot personally- but she also trains them- and herself all the way harder for it.
They train in space and on worlds with a lot of obstacles, taking life endangering training spots just to refine the already ingrained skills and to reach for greater heights. A lot more in tune with real world experience than with training courses and holo-targets, Linarath believing that there is no streamlining or refining the ancient beliefs, one must experience the world by themselves.
The unit is not very disciplined as Rada warriors go as each individuals individuality is encouraged and fostered, yet Linarath's word is never ignored- not because of the Hivemind's hum- but because of trained and fostered loyalty.

History

As of late, The Kiriyaku took part with the Alliance and the Skaronians to find and kill a Sirasion War hero, they almost succeeded in their task however this was all a trap set by Red Venom, causing for the units to be captured at an unknown facility. There they wait to be released, all having suffered large casualties.
