Irokarn

The home world of the Katarn, irokarns terrain can vary from deserts to seas, forests to ice plains, however no magma of any kind exists on the planet, the water is also much more dense than conventional water, it's more of a jelly like material than actual liquid, it's also blood red in colour. the Katarn themselves are a bipedal race with rubbery skin, elongated jaws, boney wings and a tail, their limbs are also partially exoskeletal, they have long heads with forward facing spikes, they also lack any form of eyes, instead using an ability similar to echolocation to see, this sense also has the ability to penetrate solid objects to an extent, and can reach several miles in range.
Irokarn and its neighboring planets are famed for their supplies of Katarn Spice, when used responsibly it is a valuable cooking ingredient used in some of the most highly sought after dishes in the galaxy, alternatively, it is a powerful hallucinogen when ingested in large quantities.
