Ghel'Daruum

The Aquanoid people, from their homeworld of Aquarius, are hunters and warriors both. So it's no surprise that, when the Sirasion empire arrived on their world and prevented a high tekno nuclear purge, the aquanoids swore to give 10 young warriors, their best warriors, to the empire as tribute to this act. This arrangement was solidified, and for the next few years the imperials assisted in aquanoidi construction efforts and sent imperial engineers to assist them with interstellar infrastructure. By the great uprising, aquarius was a thriving port world, and aquanoidic artisan goods, mostly blades and light armour suitable for underwater use, found their way to many unknown corners of the galaxy. The aquanoids, as a species, were well-suited to long distance space travel. They suffered very low muscle degradation on account of having evolved in water, and after the sirasions lost the great uprising, the rebels chose to forgive the aquanoids, particularly after many chose to join in the psaduan uprising. As a result, many aquanoid explorers helped map out much of the galaxy in the 200 year peace.   When the imperials returned, the aquanoids, conflicted, chose to honour their old vows and join the imperials, as the alliance was stagnating and centred it's power on the central worlds. During this time of suspicion and rampant militarism, there was a ship bearing Aquanoid civilians that were fleeing the war, as their colony on Grativia X had become a large battlefield, and they had to pass through alliance borders. Despite being a military vessel, the alliance naval commander allowed the aquanoids to pass, and that group sought shelter on an alliance held world. For this act, despite formally being an imperial ally, the aquanoids would secretly send a single warrior, called the Alli'Kal, to assist the Alliance in it's military endeavours. There were a total of 36 Alli'Kals, and even after the war ended and the aquanoids declared themselves neutral, they continued this arrangement to discreetly uphold diplomatic relations.   Ghel'Daruum was born to a family of the hunter caste, his mother and father a part of the caste that would routinely venture into the depths of aquarius to search for rare materials and the powerful beasts that lurked below. He showed promise when, while still adolescent, he was able to draw away a powerful predator from the deep-faring cadre by hurling his spear at another nearby creature, causing the predator to attack it instead and allowing the cadre to escape. After this, he was selected to take part in military training, and when he surpassed his instructor's expectations, was taken to the world's naval school, where he became both an excellent pilot, command officer and unparalleled electronic warfare expert. After some time, the Alli'Kal, an old warrioress named Hel'Leveth, passed away while attacking a pirate outpost, and as Ghel was the most promising young officer, he took the vows to be the next Alli'Kal.   The Alliance needed good recruits for alliance intelligence, and owing to Ghel's superb intellect and good charisma, he underwent training as an undercover field operative. Following his training completion, he was sent to observe project echidna, and if the need was evident, kill any threats to the alliance onboard.   His cover story was that he chose to leave his homeworld to explore, and found work in the military as an electronic warfare operative with Battlegroup 23, serving aboard the Neptune-class Battlecruiser Alfheim as an electronic warfare officer and as a specialist serving with the battlecruiser's marine contingent. Following this, he transitioned to being a police sniper in Caldur Primaris' police force, and then became a private security guard due to better pay.   Following Station W1's explosion, Ghel was perfectly positioned to activate the station's backup nuclear device and deliver a conclusive report on what happened on W1.
