Gallatrian Assembly

Founded after the High Tekno's liberation of the sector in 1978, The Gallatrian Assembly rules over the Gratax homeworld of Gallatria in a democratic government that was intended to also include the other populated systems within it, but this never fully came to fuition due to the unique cultures that had formed on each of the 5 systems.
Gallatria hosts the largest population in the subsector at around 4 billion, being the world most suited to hosting life and being the former Gratax homeworld. This causes Gallatrians to be seen as privellaged and pompous by other inhabitants of the sector, who are settled on terraformed worlds not nearly as well suited to life. The world has also tried it's best to stay neutral or as a mediator for the other 4 planets, offering loans or supplies to the many different factions that call the Gallatrian Subsector home.
People visiting from outside the sector would percieve Gallatria as the de facto capital of the sector, but upon further investigation would see that they often try to impose their methods onto the other planets,and bring the sector under their banner. One may wonder why they have not done so by force, and while a Gallatrian would say they could never stoop to such measures, residents of the other worlds would point out that Gallatria always seems to profit from the conflict, despite claiming to abhor violence.
The capital city of Mara (translated into common from it's Gratax name, Mai'Raga) hosts a population of 18 million, and is the largest city in the subsector. Built on the coast in a river delta, old gratax buildings have been repurposed for modern use, as is generally the case across the planet.
