Armored Arsenal Division

The AAD is a Rada organization that develops the Rada's war machine technology as well as being behind the mysterious Ignis technology while also manufacturing most wargear and weapons of the Rada Collective, also having their hands in ship design and development of new technologies in the military district, being an end all be all organization, each of these aspects separate into different branches of the overall organization.

Many of the current day Rada war machines are so created that a brain powers it with a parasite in it, making these machines self acting and self calculating that they do not need to be driven manually at all and can attack, defend or take cover without being told to and still adhering to battlefield command which can be given to them in seconds through the hivemind. In the case of a pilot -being- present the two parasites work together to achieve victory through added efficiency. Of course this also means that each mech and machine the Rada use is also inherently mixed with biomass, allowing the hard alloy to make way for sudden fleshy transformations, elongated bladed attacks and other things so far unseen in the galaxy otherwise.
Due to memory and skill sharing abilities shared by all Rada as well as quick adaptability to most situations and biological traits, Rada Engineers are obviously one of the most potent engineers in the galaxy, their genius and craftsmanship skills only barely matched by their humor, or so they say.

Structure

Each of these branches is headed by an High Engineer who all collaborate towards their common goals, under them works the High Foremen and under them the Division Engineers with support staff and security for them. The single head of the whole organization is the Advisor of Military engineering who the High Engineers report to, though the Advisor mostly oversees and maintains the organization and does not much do any of the work, which falls to the High Engineers.

Culture

Usually Engineer Rada are High strung, jolly and absolutely hecking nuts, as making violently powerful weaponry and not getting to use it on the battlefield is a pretty insane idea to begin with, isn't it? Hard, honest work usually makes for hard, honest individuals with a big sense of family and comradery amongst themselves as they make and develop weapons for the collective, this makes them a close knit group who hang out with each other but with the rest of the Rada family, scientists and soldiers included and are usually up for helping.  They also hold a competitive streak with the other factions engineers, always aiming to surpass their rivals and observing with great interest what they come up with in response to their designs. Not all war needs to be full of just hate, yeah?

Assets

The AAD is the main force behind the Rada War-machine and without them, holding any extended war with anyone whatsoever would be impossible. This is why they are the MOST supplied organization in the entire Collective as they are given incredibly daft amount of resources to make weapons and warmachines to turn their enemies to dust, and they are more than eager to turn those resources to death.
There isn't a Rada owned planet that doesn't have a branch of AAD working upon it in some capacity, they are the backbone of the Collective, thus their assets go far beyond regular imagination of most people, considering they span the lenght of their Collective. It is however fair to say they have the equipment to pay the bills.

History

The old Yaku War Engineering Department or YWED or "Ye wed!" as called by a portion of Rada engineers, were mostly all turned to Rada and they decided against taking the name of their predecessors and instead chose to rename themselves the AAD, Armored Arsenal Division. Trademark well handled, the Rada set out to use their experience and new ideas to make the Rada truly a mechanical marvel to witness. 
They have been indirectly involved in any and all Rada conflicts held in history and they continue to supply the Rada the gear they need, despite the personnel changing from dangerous work tests or enemy attacks.
