The First Five

A term used to refer to the first five races of Highmortals that were created during the Protean Cradle. These races were, in order of creation, Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings and Humans. Half breeds such as half-elves are usually included in this grouping, though they technically were a result of natural mixing over generations of the five races and not creation itself.
