The Clone Wars

The End and the Beginning

Written by MajorWinters

The Clone Wars was a devastating civil war that engulfed the entire Milky-Way Galaxy, depicting a conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Confederacy of Independent Systems also known as, The Separatists. This conflict lasted for approximately III years (2368-2371) and ended with a mass military betrayal of the UFP by an IIIrd party and the emergence of the First Galactic Empire. The remaining few members of the Universal Defense Federation went into hiding. After long scrutiny, it was discovered that the entire war was orchestrated by Darth Sidious, a sith lord who had disguised himself as the President of the Federation and secured dominant power over the government.

The Conflict

Prelude

The conflict began rising when star systems in the Far Rim began succeeding from the UFP and declaring themselves as an independent. The Federal Congress attempted to open negotiations but failed at every attempt. Military mobilization began when a series of large droid factories were discovered on the Far Rim world of Geonosis.

Deployment

The United Federation of Planets was a widely pacifist organization focused on diplomacy and exploration. In result of this, all military action was dependent on the Universal Defense Federation, a paramilitary corporation wielding the elite Clone Troopers. Prior to the Clone Wars, the ranks of the Clone Army were limited to two divisions. The 501st Elite Legion and the 212th Attack Battalion. The designations of these divisions were correspondent to the normal army organization. Fortunately, with the Russan Reformations in full effect, the UDF was able to establish a large cloning facility in the Realm of Ultramar. In the first months of the war the cloning process was refined and the numbers of clone divisions grew exponentially.

Battlefield

Most of the war was fought in the outer regions of the Mid-Rim until the final campaign of the war, the Far-Rim sieges.

Conditions

The conditions varied with the planet, specifically in the Far-Rim which consisted of less industrialized or modernized worlds.

The Engagement

The Clone Armies were usually outnumbered by the mass-produced droid armies of the Confederacy forcing them to take a more guerilla-style of warfare with exceptions in the Far-Rim sieges.

Outcome

The entire war resulted in a mass orchestration masterminded by President Palpatine of the Federation which resulted in his complete control of the Federal Congress and the creation of the First Galactic Empire. He ordered the mass military betrayal of the UDF through the clone troopers of its armies which had been compromised by inhibitor chips installed by the scientists working in the cloning facilities. Those who remained of the UDF or had removed their inhibitor chips retreated into the unknown regions.

Aftermath

The founding of the Galactic Empire brought on the emergence of anti-human ideals and the take-over of Galactic corporations such as the Ninjago Weapons Yards and the Trade Federation.
