The Crying Death

The Crying Death was a plague that began in the south of The Shadowed Canyons in 745 and quickly spread across the shard. Sufferers often died of dehydration as their body loses fluid from vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and their eyes as they involuntarily cried, hence the name of the disease. The disease was relatively contagious and passed from person to person in close contact. Once the disease was caught there was a near guarantee of death. Medicine available to most people proved ineffective, and even the druid tribes and priests of Pelor seemed to not be able to turn the tides. Eventually through mass quarantine, and the afflicted passing away, the plague became mostly contained by the end of the year. Those pockets of individuals still exist, and the threat of it becoming and issue again remains in peoples minds.
