Winter's Crest

A festival and traditional holiday in Continental Tal'Dorei

Has some historical something or other as to it's origin, in the modern day seems to be some sort of "coming of spring" type event.

The legend says that it was a planar melding event, and that on Winter's Crest the planar barriers are the weakest.

While this does appear to be a holiday of everyone, common people included, mages and academics also appear to give credence to the legends, seriously considering the "weakness" of the boundaries during winter's crest to be a real factor..
