Sorcerers are spellcasters that derive their power from some inherent quality, often bloodline or ancestry. This gives them a deeply personal relationship with their magic, and allows them to be more creative with their spells than other casters like Wizards, but somewhat restricts their variety of options in terms of their actual repertoire.
