Cleric

Acolytes that, typically, worship and serve a singular deity or divine concept within the pantheon of gods. They offer this service willingly and receive power, not as the other end of a deal, as a Warlock might, but as the natural result of the strength of their faith. Clerics are entirely devoted to their deity and that deity's goals and motivations. Whereas a Paladin might base their Oath off of the ostensible tenants of a deity, and then devote themselves to that tenant-based Oath, a Cleric is more flexible in their service. The deity's will is their will, and they mold themselves to serve the deity regardless of apparent consistency within the deity's requests. At least, they do if they would like to maintain their power.
