(The Mummy) Imhotep, a genius with many roles, including that of priest, kills Pharo Seti I and flees, however Anck Su Namun dies in the process. Imhotep tries to revive Anck Su Namun by using the Book of the Dead but is stopped before the ritual is complete. For his crimes, he is cursed and buried alive.
