Stephen "Steve" Trevor was a United States Army Air Service officer who worked for British Intelligence as a spy, as well as an ally of the superheroine Wonder Woman, being the first man she had ever met. During World War I, he had a secretary named Etta Candy. He, Diana and the Wonder Men helped thwart the plans of General Ludendorff, Doctor Poison, and Ares himself, while sacrificing his life in the process.
