The Broken Eye
While wearing this amulet you can see through magical disguises and illusions as well as being able to see magic as per the detect magic spell.
The amulet of the Broken Eye is an ancient artefact passed down amongst the archfey of old, most of which have now been forgotten. When evil forces rose against the fey, the amulet helped stop the attack but was shattered in the process. The shattered and unstable amulet absorbed the very essence of the feywild, and holds the power to bring this force to other realms, which could bring calamity should it fall into the wrong hands. As time passed and the amulet was hidden, a vision of the pieces came to a now long-dead wizard who wrote a premonition of the shards location. He was then approached by the archfey who promised him a perfect wish, should he manage to complete the amulet once more. The wizard failed and eventually he died, without completing his mission.
This legend and the wizards vision became a myth. The myth became a poem. The poem became a song.
Its power runs deep
