Tharrir Silverborn
The Ponvarian Quaestor of the City
Tharrir Silverborn is a member of Great House Ostenmanc and the current Ponvarian Quaestor on the Serene Conclave. Born into the lower nobility of Kalatriad, Tharrir struck out as a wandering adventurer at a young age; a life he led for some 230 years. Eventually, he set focus on a comfortable retirement, and opted to settle down in Frankonia with the considerable fortunes he had collected in his time. Tharrir quickly found an interest in antiques and relics, and partnered with the Ostenmanc family; he started an antiques shop, The Silverborn & Company Gallery, with their influence. The Ostenmancs noted his meticulous record-keeping, and this in combination with his stellar (and inoffensive) reputation, believed that he would make a perfect candidate for Quaestor. Tharrir accepted on the condition that the Gallery pass to his own family's exclusive ownership in the execution of his last will and testament. This was eventually agreed.
He is a well-mannered family man who prefers to not invoke the adventurous spirit of his past. He enjoys pipe-smoking (though he refuses to disclose what kind) and making model ships in bottles.
