Session 27: Epilogue
General Summary
After receiving all the shards that had been taken, the party became scattered. They journeyed together to Brandenheim where they left the shard with Countess through an anonymous package. There Nacklenook decided to leave them. He had grown tired of the Empire and wished to explore the lands to the west of the Borrovyan Peninsula. He would later come to the splintered lands of Killbarrow, where he would come to be known as the Whispering Shadow. The others then travelled north to Hexenberg, where they saw that the magical vortex of Galganon Gorst was still being held in check. Now with five wizards under constant strain. The party moved on to Hirschenheim, where Heiwa left them to rejoin the Wylde Hunt. She took the Shaft with her, vowing that the Wylde Hunt would henceforth be its protectors. Heiwa would not only be the Shaft’s wielder, but she would also be granted the rank of Archdruid.
Ushrir, Mikum and Thomas then travelled back to Crackstone. They had decided that they would keep the rest of the rest, save the one taken from the dwarven city. The city still had troubles with the restless dead. Troubles that went away as soon as they returned the sceptre with the shard to the crypt from which it had been taken. The rest of the shards came along as the Mourningstar left for the eastern fringe of Dhil Ahldur. Along the way the Kobold eggs finally hatched, and the training began. After arriving in the mountains south of the border between Aeryon and Helonia, the party settled in an abandoned dwarven fort. There they trained the kobolds and eventually the two salamanders that hatched.
Several years later, the mercenary troup known as Goldfang Syndicate would grow even larger as a wandering, masterless kobold-tribe would join their ranks. All under the leadership of Ushrir the Uniter, Himmler the Black Flame and Thomas the Light of Judgement. The Goldfang Syndicate would become a force to be reckoned with, riding to war in their flying chariot, with top mounted ballistas. Their motto being, just like most of their leaders, “Short and Deadly”.
