Repopulation of Grimhammer

It was over 500 years ago when the Blessed Root Clan was forced to leave their mountain halls following an earthquake that left their ancestral halls destroyed. They traveled south and happened upon the abandoned ruins of Grimhammer. The then-current elder chose to make these ruins the new home of the clan. In the ruins, the clan also found the body of a magically chained dragon. Through the years the clan uncovered the history of Grimhammer and decided to make it their mission to keep this ruin safe from graverobbers or fanatics.

A fated visit

500 years after the Blessed Root clan had settled in the ruins, Pebblebeard had become the new elder of the clan, the clan was visited by a group of adventurers. They were not the first, but when they were shown the dragon they brought to Pebblebeards attention that the dragon was communicating telepathically to them. A fact that changed his view of the imprisoned dragon that had potentially manipulated several previous visitors and she was therefore too dangerous to the clan. He asked the adventurers to find the final rune that would end the dragon's life, yet they decided to investigate further before making a decision.
