Likewise, his efforts to undercut the other Families and local actors have landed the family several highly profitable standing mercenary contracts around the world. Although none of his actions have gone uncontested by the other Septemvirs, his resolute will and unyielding defense of the Merandures' assets have earned him the nickname "Iron Hawk."
