The Prince-Mayor of Frankonia

Clovis Albert Saussure-Hoitou is the patriarch of the Emmondif dynasty of Frankonia, as well as being the Republic's incumbent Prince-Mayor. Whilst his family has a reputation of vanity and pointless extravagance, Clovis himself has dedicated his time to changing this popular perception. However, the other Houses constantly work to counter this, and as such he is mostly known for his other endeavours, such as his successive tenures as Prince-Mayor.

He is soft-spoken, refined, and approachable.

Political life

He is known as a careful negotiator who belongs to the Rassomantes political grouping in the Azure Conventus. Few legislative proposals of his have successfully passed in the Conventus, though his nominations to the Serene Conclave are almost universally regarded as one of the best in decades.
