Divine Weave

It is said that all events that were, are, or will ever be are woven into a grand tapestry by the gods, themselves. This is the Divine Weave, obscured to all mortals.
The legends state that this weave is unbelievably fragile. Its gossamer threads can't survive the choices of mortals. Thus, the gods are forced to constantly re-weave as each future changes.
Some are said to be born already woven into the Divine Weave. Such people have grand destinies, and always rise above their peers, becoming more than what they are.
Others are thought to be aberrations of fate. Their mere presence is believed to unravel the weave, changing the destinies of all those around them.
