Ilan – The Paladin of Light
Ilan – The Paladin of Light
Ilan’s life has been marked by both divine calling and the shadows of a mysterious past. Raised in the Temple of Light, he was adopted by its clergy after being found as an infant, his origins shrouded in secrecy. Though raised among orphans, Ilan’s noble bearing and unspoken potential set him apart. Under the guidance of the temple’s high priestess, Elara, and the watchful eyes of Sir Baric, he proved himself both in combat and in service, eventually taking the sacred vows of a paladin.
During his ascension ceremony, Ilan was blessed with the sacred medallion of the Temple of Light, a symbol of his devotion to justice and protection of the innocent. His vows were witnessed by the congregation, and his sword, consecrated by the gods, became the symbol of his commitment. Yet, as Ilan rose to the ranks of the paladins, he became aware of subtle forces shaping his fate—namely, the enigmatic figure of Rylor, a scribe who seemed to know far more about Ilan’s past than he was willing to share.
While Ilan’s heart is dedicated to justice, a part of him seeks answers about his origins and the deeper conspiracies surrounding his life. As he walks the path of the light, Ilan’s sense of purpose grows stronger, though the shadows of his past still loom, waiting to be uncovered.
