Personal history

Shimmura was born in Tiānshén and quickly rose through the bureaucracy until she was given a posting as regent of Oita. While other gemstone dragons would consider a placement on the world's surface a demotion, the young ivory dragon took to her work with an unusual zeal and transformed the region almost overnight. With the adoption of the Path of the Purity of Bone and the formation of the Hallowed Sea Shogunate, the region was unified from a collection of warring imperial city states to a single cohesive state.

Queen Shimmura is a welcome follower of The Path of the Purity of Bone . She became enraptured with Master Ophime's teachings shortly after the dragonborn's return to life, and quickly brought the Purity of Bone to its current status as the state religion of Oita.
