The Twisting Halls of LeShay

The hall is a towering structure that, despite only being a few floors high, induces a sense of vertigo when standing under it. Huge dark oak pillars frame simple stone walls, each pillar as wide across as a person and solid with age. Though it appears it could withstand a siege there is also an air of insubstantiality to it, a haziness that's difficult to describe. If not careful you find your eyes drifting off of it and to the side, taking in the noble houses or nearby trees and flowers.
The building, on closer examination, seems to be old. Windows are dirty and obscured, the brickwork damaged in places, ivy growing over much of it. That said the building is huge, easily a mansion fit for the most decadent of nobles, though its stark architecture and single blocky stature would be out of place in any noble district.
None of the windows are lit and the building is icy cold to the touch, moss and condensation covering the walls facing into the sun.
