The Mistpiercer Tower

The Mistpiercer Tower is a familiar and looming sight for those who live in Colcahir. It's imposingly tall, hundreds of meters, and made of a dark grey stone that seems to absorb all the light that hits it. It's topped with a polished copper point that glints and catches the light, though normally due to its height this room is invisible through the mists. Instead there is only a dark needle jutting out of the earth into the sky. 
The shadow it casts is long and often those that walk through it get the distinct impression they're being watched, and the urge to hurry away from it. 
Other than that the building appears to have windows dotted at random intervals, none low enough to the ground to see through. There doesn't appear to be a door, but for those that are questioned this fact isn't unusual and doesn't seem to provoke curiosity. Most are unnerved enough by the tower they're happy to change the topic of questioning as soon as possible.
