Personal history

Mii was born in a remote homestead nestled within the wilderness. Her parents were hardworking farmers who scraped out a humble living raising goats and cultivating hardy crops. Life in the frontier was challenging, but Mii grew up with a deep appreciation for the rugged beauty of her surroundings. She spent her days climbing rocky hillsides, herding goats, and listening to the wind whisper through the trees.   Tragedy struck when Mii was 12 years old. A Mountain Lion descended on her family’s homestead in the dead of night. Her parents fought valiantly to protect her, but they were no match for the savage creature. Mii barely escaped with her life, clutching her mother’s iron dagger as she fled into the darkness. She wandered for days, surviving on what little she could forage, until a kindly hermit named Old Tamm found her and took her in.   Under Tamm’s care, Mii learned the skills she needed to survive alone in the wilderness—how to track animals, find fresh water, and defend herself. When Tamm passed away a few years later, Mii inherited his small herd of goats and chose to remain in the wilds rather than seek shelter in a nearby town. Though solitary by nature, she occasionally ventures into River's Edge to trade goat’s milk, cheese, and wool for supplies. Her rugged independence and resourcefulness have earned her a reputation as a reliable figure in the region.   Despite her solitary life, Mii harbors a quiet longing for connection. She finds companionship among her goats, each of whom she’s named and treats like family, but she dreams of forming bonds with others—though her shyness and lingering trauma often hold her back. Her encounters with adventurers and travelers passing through the area have sparked her imagination, filling her with tales of bravery and discovery. Though she doesn’t consider herself a hero, Mii keeps her mother’s dagger close, wondering if she might one day have the courage to step beyond her quiet life and leave her mark on the world.
