Cyclops Zombie

A hollow, thunderous moan rumbles across the ruins as the ground trembles beneath the weight of the approaching horror. The towering corpse lumbers forward, its sagging flesh barely holding together, bones jutting through like jagged ruins of its own body. One massive, lifeless eye stares down, unblinking and full of hate. It does not rush—it does not need to. The one-eyed giant has already seen your death, and in its rotting mind, it is only waiting for the rest of the world to catch up.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Cyclops Zombies are most commonly found in the ruins of ancient civilizations, particularly those where cyclopean societies once thrived. These decayed, one-eyed giants often linger in forgotten temples, abandoned strongholds, or cursed battlefields, where powerful necromantic energies have either raised them from the dead or bound them to an unnatural existence. Some are trapped in sunless caverns, their rotting forms shambling through the darkness, while others roam desolate wastelands, drawn to the last remnants of their former homes.

Behaviour

Unlike lesser undead, Cyclops Zombies retain faint echoes of their former intelligence, though twisted by decay and madness. They often stand motionless for long periods, as if waiting for orders that will never come. When disturbed, they react slowly at first, but with relentless brutality, crushing intruders with sheer, undead strength. Some display eerie habits—staring at the stars as if searching for lost wisdom, tracing forgotten symbols in the dust, or murmuring words in a dead language. Their one eye, milky and lifeless, seems to fixate on their prey with uncanny focus, as if recognizing them before the killing begins.
